Adam Brunke, Client Experience Specialist
What do you love most about your job?
Besides the great people I get to work with, I’d have to say any time we get to present solid performance metrics to a client. Seeing and hearing their response to our actions on the account is a great feeling.
What would your perfect weekend look like?
I find if it’s ALL relaxing, by Monday it feels like the weekend vanished in the blink of an eye. My perfect weekend is always a mix of relaxing out back or at the cottage, sprinkled with some house projects and hanging with the family. Spending a bit of time with friends and getting the house cleaned and back in order for the new week…exciting I know!
Describe an exciting hobby or pastime that you have.
I’ve said this before but I am a sucker for nostalgia so I love collecting things from my childhood. Whether that be old CRT TVs with an Original Super Nintendo or some Magic the Gathering cards.
What’s something surprising that not many people know about you?
People tend to find out quickly but are always surprised when I tell them I’ve got 3 crazy kiddos at home.
Do you follow any sports teams, if so who?
Big fan of our local Ottawa Senators, even through the ups and downs. I’m also a big fan of the NFL and the team I cheer for is the Atlanta Falcons, the future’s looking bright!
Why did you choose to pursue a career in your field?
I started my post-secondary education in general business but found it too dry so I left the program. I attended one of those career/program fairs at Algonquin and talked to some students and teachers from the Advertising and Marketing program and to me, it was the perfect blend of business and creativity.
What is the most important lesson that you’ve learned from working with the team?
Task it. If something needs to get done, task it. We all try to remember all the things but to make everyone’s lives more straightforward it’s just best to create a reminder.
What do you enjoy most about working at Sidi.io?
I’m going to go back to the first question and say, the people. Sidi has a phenomenal team filled with people that want to be here and care about what they do. It’s just so refreshing.
How would your best friend describe you in three words?
Laid back, funny and family-man.
