Meet Fernando!

Born and raised in Toronto, Fernando quickly realized he wanted to pursue a career that challenged his creative mind.

Years of experience as a Social Media Manager and helping brands establish their online presence has given Fernando the toolset and knowledge to manage the performance side of Digital Marketing at Sidi.io.

We recently sat down with Fernando to get to know him a little better.

What is your favourite part of working at Sidi.io?

My favourite part of working at Sidi.io is how the team collaborates to achieve a common goal even though we all work remotely.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to find out?

I’m secretly ordained (I forgot I ordained myself 4+ years ago).

How would you describe Sidi.io in 3 words?

Performance, growth, & teamwork.

What’s the last song you listened to?

Babyface Ray ft Lucki – Young OG.

How did you get started in the marketing industry?

I watched an episode of friends, the one where Chandler switches his career path to advertising & thought I could do that too (I’m being dead serious!!).

How has Sidi.io helped you in your career development?

Working with Sonali and Vasvi, they’ve really helped me increase my performance & CMS knowledge.

How do you define success?

I define success as enjoying what you do as a career so that your everyday life is just a little bit more enjoyable.

How would you describe yourself only using a gif?

Are you left or right-handed?

Right-handed, but my penmanship is terrible.

What’s the best vacation you’ve ever had?

Dominican republic with my friends in 2019.
