Whether it is picking up the phone to cold call a new prospect, or facing a difficult client situation, seconds before you approach it, you will feel that burst of adrenaline.

So what do we fear?

Some ideas are bad.

Some ideas are great.

But as the old cliché says, you can’t win the game if you don’t show up.

Despite my assumed confidence, I get the fear too.

The moment right before I press the publish button on this post I will wonder if people think I am an idiot.

Truth be told, some of you will and that’s ok.

We are all being judged and to ignore that is only setting you up for actual ridicule.

See we all have an opportunity to grow and fear holds us back.

No one wants to damage their reputation – but you can’t even create one if you don’t face the risk of failure.

Share your passion with the world, share your products and services with your clients.

Ask for opportunities, build awareness.

Be confident in your sales calls because even if it doesn’t work out, you will be reliable and face the criticism head on.

Because one can only build character if they are witness to their own flaws.

So get out of your comfort zone, don’t use lack of motivation as an excuse anymore, and pick up that bucket list because life is precious and finite – unlike your potential.
